1958

The Scarsdale Lacrosse Team was started by coach Frank Rathke in the spring of 1958. Practices, and games, we held at Crossways field and the team was sponsored by the Scarsdale Recreation Department.

Jerseys were individually purchased at Meads Department store. Used equipment was donated by The United States Military Academy at West Point and each player fiberglassed his own wooden stick and repaired his own gloves and helmet.
